World's Best Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup oil
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 5 cups flour

Recipe

• 1 cream butter with 1 cup powdered sugar and 1 cup granulated sugar.
• 2 beat in eggs until smooth.
• 3 slowly stir in oil, vanilla, baking soda, cream of tartar, salt and flour.
• 4 chill for easy handling.
• 5 shape into walnut-size balls. dip in sugar. place on baking sheet and press down with the bottom of a glass.
• 6 bake at 350 degrees 10 to 12 minutes.
• 7 make about 4 dozen.
