Vanilla Bean Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 vanilla bean, scraped
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f (175 degrees c). grease cookie sheets.
- 2 in a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and sugar until light and fluffy.
- 3 add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- 4 mix vanilla bean with vanilla extract in a small seperate bowl. add to mixture and beat well.
- 5 combine the flour, baking soda and salt in seperate bowl. gradually stir into the creamed mixture.
- 6 fold in the chocolate chips.
- 7 drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
- 8 bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until light brown. allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
