Texas Sheet Cake

Ingredients

• 1 cup margarine
• 4 tablespoons cocoa
• 1 cup water
• 2 cups flour
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup sour cream
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 cup margarine
• 4 tablespoons cocoa
• 6 tablespoons milk
• 1 lb powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup nuts, chopped (optional)

Recipe

• 1 for cake:.
• 2 bring margarine, cocoa, and water to boil. remove from heat. sift flour sugar, and salt together. add to cocoa mixture. beat in eggs, sour cream and soda. pour into large greased cookie sheet w/ sides (12x15). bake 20-25 minutes @ 375. no longer.
• 3 icing:.
• 4 bring margarine, cocoa, and milk to boil. remove from heat and stir in powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. spread on cake as soon as it comes out of oven. cut when cool.
