You Name Them Cookies (ranger)

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shortening (can be partly margarine)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 2 cups corn flakes or 2 cups rice krispies
  • 1 cup raisins or 1 cup dates
  • 1 cup coconut

Recipe

  • 1 mix shortening, sugar & eggs. add salt, soda & baking powder to flour, then add to shortening mix. add oats & corn flakes. add raisins & coconut last. roll into balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet & flatten with a fork, crisscrossing. bake at 350 until browned, about 12 minutes.
