Tortillas De Harina (flour Tortillas)

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup warm water

Recipe

  • 1 combine flour, baking powder and salt in a a medium sized bowl. in a small bowl, combine warm water and oil.
  • 2 add liquid mixture to the flour one tablespoon at a time, mixing with a fork after each addition.
  • 3 lightly flour a cutting board and knead dough about 4-5 minutes or until smooth.

  • 9 keep cooked tortillas covered in a tortilla warmer, or place on a cookie sheet in a warm oven, while finishing all the tortillas.).
