World's Greatest Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup crisco
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 6 -8 cups flour
• 1 cup buttermilk (add soda and let set while mixing other ingredients)
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon flavoring (i.e. vanilla, orange, lemon)
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

• 1 cream crisco and sugar together.
• 2 add all other ingredients except flour.
• 3 slowly add flour until you can handle it enough to roll out on a floured surface (dough can also be used for filled cookies).
• 4 cut dough with cookie cutters into fun shapes.
• 5 bake at 350 degrees f for 8-10 minutes.
• 6 don't overcook.
• 7 they will look pretty lightly colored when done.
• 8 if they start to brown, you've cooked them too long and they won't be soft.
