Waxy Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 cups ground oatmeal
• 2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon baking soda
• 1 tablespoon hot water
• 2 large eggs
• 1 cup crisco
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar, packed
• 2 cups ground raisins

Recipe

• 1 place all ingredients in at once and mix.
• 2 i pulsed the quick oatmeal in a food processor to achieve a finer texture.
• 3 roll into ball size of walnut and roll in powdered sugar.
• 4 bake on greased cookie sheet at 350° for 10-12 minutes. do not overbake.
