Susan Strahm's Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• Servings: 24
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 1 cup shortening
• 2 eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 6 tablespoons milk
• 4 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

• 1 cream first 5 ingredients together.
• 2 sift the last 4 ingredients together, then mix with the rest.
• 3 chill dough.
• 4 roll out 1/2" thick & cut.
• 5 bake at 375 for 8 - 10 minutes, just till barely brown. don't overcook.
