Ingredients

• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup creamy peanut butter
• 3 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 36 hershey chocolate kisses (optional)

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• 2 in a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars.
• 3 add the eggs and peanut butter. stir well.
• 4 add the flour and baking soda. mix well.
• 5 roll the cookie dough into 1-inch balls and put them two inches apart on a cookie sheet.
• 6 flatten the cookies by making a criss-cross design using a fork, first pressing horizontally, then vertically (or vice-versa).
• 7 bake the cookies for 10 minutes.
• 8 cool on the cookie sheet for a few minutes and then transplant the cookies to a plate.
• 9 optional: if desired, press a hershey's kiss on the center of each cookie as soon as they are removed from the oven.
