Vanilla Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup shortening
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup confectioners' sugar
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 4 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

• 1 cream butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla until fluffy.
• 2 add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
• 3 combine dry ingredients in separate bowl.
• 4 gradually add to cream mixture.
• 5 roll into desired size balls.
• 6 roll in granulated sugar.
• 7 place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
• 8 bake @ 325 for 8-10 minute.
