Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 3 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

• 1 cream butter and sugar. add eggs and vanilla. then mix dry ingredients. you may have to add another 1/2 cup of flour. (this can be added as you cut the cookies out if the dough is too sticky).
• 2 chill dough.
• 3 roll out dough and cut into desired shapes. bake 350 for 8-10 minutes (shorter time for softer cookies).
