Chocolate Chunk Macadamia Cookies

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine, softened
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
  • 2 cups chocolate, broken into bite size chunks

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy; beat in the eggs and vanilla.
  • 3 mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt; add gradually to the butter mixture.
  • 4 fold in the macadamias and chocolate.
  • 5 drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.
  • 6 bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until undersides are lightly golden.
  • 7 cool slightly before removing from cookie sheets.
