Ultimate Cake Cut-out Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 cups sugar
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup butter
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 5 1/3 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
• 1 tablespoon milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 4 cups powdered sugar

Recipe

• 1 heat oven to 375* mix sugar, shortening, margarine, vanilla and egg. stir in remaining ingredients.
• 2 divide dough in 4 equal parts. roll each part ¼ inch thick and cut with cookie cutters.
• 3 bake until no identation remains when touched, 6 to 8 minutes.
