Two Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• 3 1/2 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 2 teaspoons cream of tartar

Recipe

• 1 cream together shortening and sugars. add the eggs and mix well. also add the vanilla.
• 2 gradually add the flour mixed with the soda and cream of tartar.
• 3 make small tablespoon sized balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
• 4 bake at 350°f until brown, about 10 minutes.
