Ingredients
- 1/3 cup sucanat
- 3 egg whites
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons natural-style peanut butter
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup wheat bran
- 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup ground flax seeds
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (mini)
Recipe
- 1 mix first 7 ingredients in a medium sized bowl.
- 2 mix flour and remaining ingredients in another bowl leaving aside the slivered almonds & chocolate chips. combine wet ingredients with dry and then stir in chocolate chips and almonds.
- 3 roll into balls and place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
- 4 bake at 350 for 12 -13 minutes.
