Taffy Apples

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup corn syrup
• 2 cups sugar
• 1/4 cup water
• 1 dash red food coloring
• 9 -12 apples

Recipe

• 1 boil syrup, sugar and water rapidly until it spins a very brittle thread when dropped in cold water.
• 2 add food colouring.
• 3 remove from direct heat, and place over hot water.
• 4 quickly dip apples into the hot syrup, coating completely.
• 5 stand on buttered cookie sheet until cold.
