Squash Vermont

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3 acorn squash
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 12 brown and serve sausages or 12 sausage patties

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • 2 cut squash in half lengthwise; remove seeds.
  • 3 place cut-side down on a cookie sheet.
  • 4 bake 30 minutes.
  • 5 remove from oven; turn squash over.
  • 6 salt and pepper.
  • 7 place 1 tablespoon syrup and two sausage links/patties in each half.
  • 8 return to oven for 10-12 minutes or until sausage is browned.
