Soft Pretzels

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (1 ounce) package dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • coarse salt

Recipe

  • 1 sprinkle yeast in warm water and mix. add remaining ingredients, except egg. mix; turn out on floured board and knead. when well blended, divide dough into small balls. roll and twist to form pretzels. place on greased cookie sheet and brush with egg. bake at 425* for 12-15 minutes. sprinkle salt on before baking.
