Soft Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup milk
• 3 cups flour
• 4 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 cup cocoa

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
• 2 beat together butter and sugar.
• 3 add eggs, beating until fluffy.
• 4 add milk and blend together.
• 5 in a separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients.
• 6 add to butter mixture and combine thoroughly.
• 7 drop by teaspoonfuls on lightly greased cookie sheets.
• 8 bake for about 15 minutes.
• 9 remove to cooling racks; cool thoroughly.
• 10 frost when cool if desired.
