Tropical Snow Drops

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter, soft
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup tropical dried fruit
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1 cup coconut
• 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
• 1/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 375.
• 2 beat butter and shortening on medium speed for 30 seconds.
• 3 add sugar, baking soda and salt.
• 4 beat in eggs, vanilla, flour, fruit bits, coconut and nuts.
• 5 drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet.
• 6 bake 9-11 minutes.
• 7 transfer to wire rack.
