Sweet & Spicey Candied Pecans

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 lb pecan halves
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon water

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 250.
  • 2 sit aside pecans.
  • 3 mix next 6 ingredients together in a large container with a lid.
  • 4 mix egg , vanilla, and water in a bowl big enough for the pecans to be tossed inches.
  • 5 toss pecans in egg mixture.
  • 6 after pecans are well coated, transfer to the sugar mixture.
  • 7 place top on the container with sugar and shake well to coat.
  • 8 place coated pecans on a cookie sheet and bake at 250 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  • 9 cool well and enjoy.
