Sweet Bread Fingers

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 loaf bread, thin sliced
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup jam (your favorite) (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350*.
  • 2 cut the crusts from bread.
  • 3 roll the bread slices flat with a rolling pin or a glass.
  • 4 spread a thin layer of cream cheese on the bread.
  • 5 if using,add a tiny bit of jam.
  • 6 roll them up into the shape of a finger.
  • 7 mix cinnamon and sugar.
  • 8 dip the fingers into melted butter or brush on with a pastry brush.
  • 9 roll in cinnamon/sugar.
  • 10 place on a greased cookie sheet and bake until light brown-about 20 minutes.
  • 11 check on them half way through to make sure they aren't cooking too fast.
