Susannah's Molasses Cookies

Ingredients

• Servings: 48
• 3/4 cup shortening
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1/4 cup molasses
• 2 cups flour (all-purpose)
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon (ground)
• 1/4 teaspoon clove (ground)
• 1/4 teaspoon ginger (ground)
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

• 1 cream shortening, sugar, eggs, and molasses.
• 2 sift dry ingredients together.
• 3 mix dry ingredients into the shortening mixture.
• 4 form 1" balls of dough and roll in granulated sugar.
• 5 bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes.
