Whole Wheat Sunflower Seed Bread

Ingredients
- 4 cups warm water
- 4 (1/4 ounce) packages dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 cup sunflower seeds (whole)
- 1/2 cup safflower oil or 1/2 cup any good vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup honey
- 9 cups approximately whole wheat flour
Recipe
- 1 dissolve yeast in warm water using a whisk.
- 2 add the rest of the ingredients--adding flour gradually till it forms a good kneading dough.
- 3 put on floured board and knead this for about 10-15 minutes.
- 4 put into a large oiled bowl.
- 5 rise about 1-2 hours.
- 6 punch down and rise again--about 1 hour or a little more.
- 7 divide into thirds and place in three greased bread pans.
- 8 rise again till doubled.
- 9 325 degrees for about 60 minutes.
- 10 these will not be too brown on the bottom because of the lower temperature; if you want them browner, take them out of the pans and put them on a cookie sheet and bake another 8-10 minutes (i never have to do this because i like them the way they are).
