Ingredients
- 1 cup molasses
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup water, hot
- 1 cup shortening
- 3 teaspoons baking soda
- 4 teaspoons ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 5 cups flour
Recipe
- 1 disolve baking soda in hot water.
- 2 mix all ingredients. add more flour if needed to make dough the right consistency.
- 3 refrigerate overnight. roll out and cut.
- 4 8 minutes at 450.
