Soft Ginger Puff Cookies

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup molasses
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons ginger powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups raisins
- 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
Recipe
- 1 set oven to 375 degrees.
- 2 in a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
- 3 add in the eggs, beating well after each addition.
- 4 beat in molasses and sour cream.
- 5 combine flour, ginger, baking soda, allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
- 6 stir in raisins and walnuts.
- 7 drop by tablespoons (1-inch apart) on greased cookie sheets.
- 8 bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges begin to brown.
- 9 remove to wire racks; cool.
