The Sea Hag's French Silk Pie

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature (no exceptions)
  • 3 ounces chocolate (unsweetened baker's)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pie crust (cookie crumb variety)

Recipe

  • 1 in a double boiler, start melting the chocolate. when it's melted, take it off the boiler and let it cool.
  • 2 cream the butter and sugar with a mixer for about 2 minutes.
  • 3 add 2 eggs, mix on high for 2 minutes. it's important to mix for the entire two minutes.
  • 4 add cooled chocolate and mix until combined.
  • 5 add the last two eggs and mix on high for another 2 minutes.
  • 6 scoop into the pie crust and freeze for an hour.
