The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies You'll Ever Eat.

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temp
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 350 degrees f.
  • 2 mix the flour, baking soda, and salt into medium bowl.
  • 3 in a seperate large bowl, beat together shortening and butter.
  • 4 add sugars to shortening mix, and continue beating until fluffy (3-5 minutes).
  • 5 add eggs, vanilla, and cinnamon to shortening mix, continue to beat until well mixed.
  • 6 add dry ingredients into shortening and mix until smooth.
  • 7 mix chips in with dough until well dispersed
  • 8 use a tablespoon to drop dough onto a cookie sheet.
  • 9 let bake for 14-18 minutes or until light golden brown on top (cooking time depends on size of cookies).
