Wendy's No-bake Peanut Butter Bars - Weight Watchers

Total Time: 13 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 3 mins

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup reduced-fat creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons light butter, stick
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 2 cups bran buds (kellogg's all bran preferred)

Recipe

  • 1 spray a 9 x 13 inch baking pan with non-stick spray.
  • 2 combine the peanut butter, brown sugar, honey and butter in a large saucepan.
  • 3 cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally until smooth, about 3-4 minutes.
  • 4 remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
  • 5 add the cereals and stir well to coat.
  • 6 spoon the cereal mixture into the baking pan.
  • 7 cover with wax paper or plastic wrap and gently press to form an even layer.
  • 8 let cool completely.
  • 9 refrigerate, covered, until firm (at least 1 hour).
  • 10 uncover and cut into 24 bars.
