Two Chocolate-chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup pecans (chopped and toasted)
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 6 ounces milk chocolate chips
- 6 ounces chocolate chips
Recipe
- 1 preheat an oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 in a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda and salt.
- 3 in another bowl, beat together the butter and both the sugars until the mixture is light in texture.
- 4 beat in the whole egg and egg yolk.
- 5 add the maple syrup and the vanilla.
- 6 gradually add the flour mixture, beating just until smooth.
- 7 fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
- 8 cover and refrigerate until cold, 2-6 hours. ??.
- 9 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 10 scoop 1 tablespoon of the chilled dough onto baking sheets, spacing them about 1 inch apart. ??.
- 11 bake until the cookies are lightly browned, 8 to 10 minutes.
