Triple Chocolate Coconut Macaroons

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 (14 ounce) packages shredded coconut
  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips, divided
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 300 degrees, generously grease cookie sheets.
  • 2 in a large bowl, whisk together egg whites and salt. until foamy. whisk in condensed milk and vanilla.
  • 3 fold in coconut and 1 cup of semisweet chips and 1 cup chocolate chips.
  • 4 drop batter by heaping tablespoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets and bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes. cool on pans 2 minutes, remove from pans and let cool completely.
  • 5 melt remaining chocolate chips in microwave and dip bottom of each cookie in melted chocolate to coat. allow to harden on waxed paper.
