Sugar Cookie Crisps

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup margarine
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

• 1 melt margarine. remove from heat. add sugar, egg, vanilla. beat smooth for one minute. sift dry ingredients over and blend well.
• 2 cover and chill for 30 minutes. shape into two 1 1/2 inch thick rolls. wrap in wax paper.
• 3 chill one hour.
• 4 slice and bake on a greased cookie sheet at 350*f for 10 to 12 minutes.
