Rum Custard

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 eggs, beaten lightly
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon rum
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • grated nutmeg, to sprinkle on top

Recipe

  • 1 combine everything except nutmeg.
  • 2 pour into 4 individual custard cups.
  • 3 top with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
  • 4 set in a pan with 1 inch of water.
  • 5 bake at 325f for 30 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  • 6 do not over bake.
  • 7 serve warm or cold with little crispy cookies.
