Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups butter (sofened, not melted)
• 2 cups sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 5 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 2 teaspoons baking soda

Recipe

• 1 cream butter and sugar until smooth, beat eggs and vanilla inches stir in flour, baking powder and baking soda. mix until combined, chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
• 2 heat oven when ready to 350. roll the dough to desired thickness. cook between 9-11 minute depending on thickness (golden brown bottom's, top may still look undone -- ) cool on parchment paper. frost with desired frosting -- .
