Toronto Star Monster Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 cups rolled oats (i use quick cooking oats)
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup walnuts
Recipe
- 1 cream butter and sugar until fluffy in a large bowl.
- 2 beat in the eggs and vanilla.
- 3 in a separate bowl, combine flour, oats, baking soda and salt, stir to combine.
- 4 add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture stirring by hand until well blended.
- 5 add chocolate chips, raisins and walnuts, stir to combine.
- 6 on a greased sheet, drop 1 1/2 - 2" apart. flatten cookie with the bottom of a floured glass.
- 7 bake at 300f for 15-18 minutes.
- 8 cool one minute on baking sheet, then transfer to cooling rack.
