Chip Chocolate Cookies (toll House)

Total Time: 26 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 11 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup baking cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
  • 3 beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in large mixing bowl with an electric mixer.
  • 4 add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • 5 gradually beat in flour mixture.
  • 6 stir in chocolate chips.
  • 7 drop by well-rounded teaspoons (i did tablespoon measures and got 48 cookies) onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • 8 bake for 9-11 minutes.
  • 9 let cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes.
  • 10 transfer to wire racks and let cool completely.
