Choc Cherry Brownies

Ingredients

- 125 g unsalted butter, chopped
- 240 g chocolate, chopped
- 3/4 cup caster sugar
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup plain flour
- 1/2 cup self raising flour
- 240 g extra chocolate, chopped
- 3 (55 g) cherry ripe candy bars
- icing sugar, to decorate
Recipe
- 1 grease square cake pan 23cm.
- 2 line with baking paper.
- 3 place butter chocolate in pan and sir over low heat til melted and smooth without boiling.
- 4 stir in sugar.
- 5 allow to cool 5 minute.
- 6 stir in eggs vanilla extract sifted flours extra chopped chocolate.
- 7 spread in pan.
- 8 cut chocolate bars into strips and place evenly on top and press down slightly.
- 9 cook in 180 degrees oven.
- 10 35min til golden brown cool in pan.
- 11 turn out slice trim edges and cut into squares dust with icing sugar.
