Ingredients

• Servings: 4
• 3/4 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1 (3 ounce) package fruit flavored jell-o® mix
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt

Recipe

• preheat oven to 400 degrees f (200 degrees c).
• mix thoroughly shortening, sugar, gelatin, eggs and vanilla. blend in dry ingredients.
• roll dough into 3/4 inch balls. place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. flatten each with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. bake for 6 to 8 minutes.
